Ibrahim is a young active child living with both parents including five siblings. They stay in one of the villages in the mid-western part of Uganda. They depend on subsistence farming majorly growing food crops on a small piece of hired land. Ibrahim is the youngest child in the family, he likes sweeping the compound after school and during his free time he enjoys playing football with siblings and friends. His parents earn approximately 100 US dollars annually, this is insufficient to provide all their basic needs. Ibrahim comes from a community that has no access to proper healthcare services, the only available health center unit is about 7 kilometers away making it hard for his parents to reach on time in case of emergencies. The community is also highly affected by gender-based violence, which results to child neglect and child headed families denying them access to proper medical care, education, clothing, shelter, and parenting. Your heartfelt choice to sponsor Ibrahim will enable him to have access to proper medical services, education, and parenting sessions to the community through participation in the organization.
