Sofia, or Sofi for short, comes from a family of 6. They live in harmony in their simple house located by the seashore. They have a water faucet, but they rely on a series connection to their neighbors for electricity. The head of the family, her father, is a fisherman. His income depends on the season. It mostly falls under $69.00 monthly, which is hardly enough to sustain the needs of four children. Sofis father works sideline as a farm laborer to earn extra money. Sofis mother takes good care of them, while maintaining their backyard garden for extra food. Sofi is kind and sweet. Her favorite part of the day is seeing her siblings. She can eat on her own now, and enjoys fruits like apples, watermelon, and mangoes. She loves milk the most. Her favorite toy is barbie dolls. Her parents hope that she will grow healthy and intelligent, determined to achieve whatever her dreams will be.
