Pa Modou lives in the western part of the Gambia with his mother, aunts, uncle, and grandmother. The mother recently got divorced with the mother. Therefore, the mother is soldering the responsibility of the child. The mother is a salesgirl in a supermarket whose income earning is too low to take care of the child and assist his grandmother because his grandfather passed away. Pa Modou is a warm little boy who likes playing with balls with friends. Presently he is not attending school due to the financial constraints of the mother, but she planned to enroll him next academic year. He is very active and his health status is very good. This child needs sponsorship to meet his daily needs to live a better life shortly.
