Onesmas is a humble, obedient and kind boy who lives in Central-western Uganda with his family in a semi permanent house made of mud, rusted iron sheet and packed dirty flow. Due to dust from the flow, the children often fall sick of cough and flue yet the parents lack enough money to buy medicines for them. While at school him and the siblings miss out on writing examination due to failure by parents to pay examination fees this has kept him repeat the same class every year. out of school at an early age and their children too may not make it in life also. His family survives through subsistence farming and grow crops like beans, maize but due to unreliable weather, the yields are low hence earning them with less than 30 dollars a month. This is not sufficient to enable his family access the required basic needs like scholastic materials, medication among others.
