Promise and her sibling live with their grandparents. This was so after their mother and father divorced. Their mother also deserted living them with the grandparents to take care of them. They live in Rufunsa a small farming area which is situated in the eastern part of Lusaka. The family depends on subsistence farming. They grow maize and cassava which they sometimes sell at the local market in order to increase the family income. Their annual income is not more than $400. This is not enough to sustain the family  with their daily basic needs. Promise is not in school because of age. Your support will bring joy to her and indeed to the entire family.
