His favourite game is playing with sand and water with his siblings. His parents are poor and struggling to make ends meet to provide for him and his siblings basic needs. The family depends on subsistence farming and earn less than US 10 dollars on average per month. During some hard months of the year, her family only affords one meal a day. Whenever it is harvesting time, Lawrence is very happy because he is sure to have plenty of fresh food to eat. Him and his family live in a single grass thatched house which has got no windows.
