Little Dembeu is a healthy and joyful young boy. He is now trying to crawl. He is very close to his mother and only cries when he is hungry. He lives with his parents and siblings in a family house made of clay. There is no electric supply in this remote village. They use a solar lamp at night. The main occupation of the inhabitants is agriculture. His father is a fisherman. But during the rainy season, he grows millet, maize and rice to feed his family. The mother is a housewife. The irregular yearly income of the family is US $890.00 and is not enough to meet the family needs. An extra support from a sponsor can certainly help this child grow up safe and healthy.
