Rokhaya is a lovely and sweet little girl who lives with her parents in a remote village. Her father is a local farmer whose annual income does not exceed US $1200.00. The income is not sufficient to make both ends meet. As for her mother, she is a housewife who stays at home to prepare the daily meals that are often based on rice. They live in a family house where they have neither access to running water nor electricity supply. Little Rokhaya has not yet started her school career but she is put in a local and nearby Koranic school where she is regular and is discovering the joy of learning. She spends her free moments playing with her toys or her neighborhood friends, running the small errands or being by her mother’s side. Rokhaya does need support in order to live in better conditions.
