A beautiful and lovely baby girl is how Maman Awa is. She lives with her parents in a remote region. Her father is a local farmer who does not earn more than US $1400.00 per year. The income is not enough to cope with all the family members’ basic needs. Fortunately they live in the family house which prevents him from paying the house rent. They live in a modest house where they have access to running water and also electricity supply. Maman Awa’s mother is a housewife with no reliable income who stays at home to prepare the daily meals that are often based on rice. Little Maman Awa is still a baby. She spends her time playing or being by her mother’s side. Her parents’ dire wish is for their beloved daughter to have a support from abroad.
