In the heart of Sri Lankas tea plantation community, little Sakinthan brightens each day with his innocent smile and boundless energy. Despite their humble circumstances, his family finds solace and strength in their love for each other. Every morning, Sakinthan joins his brothers on the walk to preschool, eager to explore and learn. His days are filled with laughter, immersed in play with his beloved toys. Their home, nestled amidst the lush greenery, provides shelter and warmth with its cement walls and tin sheet roof. Despite the challenges they face, they are fortunate to have access to electricity, sanitation facilities, and clean water from the tap line. Sakinthans mother works tirelessly as a tea plantation laborer, while his father earns a living as a mason. Yet, despite their hard work, their income falls short of meeting their basic needs. Sponsorship offers hope for a brighter future, ensuring Sakinthans continued growth and well-being.
