Ruth is a smart clever girl living with her parents and siblings in a small village surrounded with rocks and forest in the northern part of Sierra Leone. They dwell in a mud house with six bedrooms with no electricity, pipe burn water running and good sanitary facility for the family at home. The family is engaged in local farming, growing swamp rice and cassava, with an annual income of less than US$405.00 which is not enough to take care of the home. The family shares a single meal per day. Ruth attends the community primary in her village which is few minutes walk from her home, she enjoys her class of reading the alphabets and count using stones and sticks. She cannot get all her school supplies because the parents cannot provide all for her and siblings as money earn from their farm produce cannot meet all their needs and she sometime have to stay home. She is in good health at present and enjoys playing balancing ball with her friends. Ruth goes with her mother to the farm during the weekends. With your sponsorship support, Ruth will continue her education and become a nurse in future to achieve her dreams.
