Kulako is a smart little girl who lives with her parents, a brother and one sister in a farming community in the northern Sierra Leone. The family dwells in a mud bricks extended family house with unfinished dirt floors with no proper ventilation. Small scale farming is their main source of livelihood, the income from the farm produce could not address all the basic needs of the family. The mother also sells kola nuts at the local market to help in the upkeep of the home. Kulako is attending in one of the primary schools in the community, her best subject is hand writing and best meal is cooked rice and potato leaf source. She is healthy and lives happily with her peers. Sponsorship will go a long way to restore hope in her for a brighter future.
