He lives with his mother and 2 siblings in a humble two-room house that is made of adobe, cement, and corrugated metal roof. While they have electricity, they lack decent sanitation services. His mother is the sole provider. She works as a cleaner. Her income is not enough to cover the basics and reaching the end of the month is a constant struggle. She makes around US$ 144.00 per month.
