Precious is a calm young girl who likes playing with mud dolls with her friends. She lives with both parents, four brothers and two sisters in one of the remote villages in Luangwa district of Zambia. Preciouss family solely depends on small subsistence farming which is the familys major source of livelihood. Unfortunately, Luangwa is an area much affected by adverse weather conditions characterized by periods of prolonged droughts and floods thereby affecting agricultural yield. In order to help supplement for their other basic needs, Preciouss parents sell off some of the little yield they get to have but it is not enough to sustain them as it is not more than US$300 per year. Your kind and loving support through sponsorship will help to improve the living standard of Precious and that of her family.
