Little Binta is a pretty and joyful little girl. She can now walk and speak but is still too young to be sent to any structure for her education. She is a smiling child who likes to play with her doll. She is very close to her mother. She lives with her parents and siblings in a family house made of clay. They fetch water from a well. In this remote area, the main occupation of the inhabitants is commerce. Her father is a fisherman. As for the mother, she stays home and performs the house chores. She often washes people’ laundries to earn some money. The irregular yearly income of the family is US $780.00 and is not enough to satisfy the family needs. An extra support from a sponsor can certainly help this child grow up in better conditions.
