Kelvin is a charming boy who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana county. He is raised by his mother and father. Kelvin has two brothers and three sisters. They live in a palm thatched mud house in a communal land. They fetch water from a community hand pump whose water is saline hence not safe for the childs consumption as it predisposes him to water borne disease. The mother is the breadwinner of the family who depends on casual work. The family also practices firewood selling as a livelihood supplementation activity. However, the annual income is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to sustain family basic needs. His mother therefore decided to approach the office for assistance. Kelvin is enrolled in a nearby school and he likes participating in mathematics and swahili. His favorite game is playing with tires and football with his friends. His mother would like him to become a teacher when he grows up. While at home, Kelvin helps his mother in gathering firewood and fetching water. Your support will bring a lasting change to his life.
