Ruth is an active and cheerful girl and is a single orphan. She stays with her single widowed mother. She comes from a small humble family. Her mother does sell some vegetables to take care of her to avoid malnutrition catching up with her but efforts are all in vain because the realized income is insufficient to carter for the family’s basic needs and rentals.  They earn about US$350 monthly. The family is in good health.Ruth is not in school because her mother lacks some finances to send her to school. She likes playing with plastic dolls with her friends.
