Sponsor A Child

Mariama and family live in small farming community in West Coast Region of the Gambia. Her family live in small mud block house with old and leaking roof. Her parents are subsistence farmers who grow crops for family consumption. Their total family income is not sufficient to feed the family with two meals a day. The child is enrolled in the sponsorship program because her parents cannot afford to meet basic needs for young Mariama’s growth and development. She is a very healthy and happy child who enjoy playing with her mother.
