Mariama is a pretty little girl who is very active in her peer groups she is second born of her mum. She lives with her family in the rural village in the Western part of The Gambia where social facilities are limited which makes life difficult sometime. She likes singing and dancing in the present of her age mates. Her parents are traditional farmers, who depend on seasonal rains to make their living and farming and its other related activities are the sources of income for their family. Her family’s annual income is mostly below average. These good and caring parents want their child to have high and quality education and so be the need for her enrollment into the sponsorship program of ChildFund Gambia.
