Sarjo and family lives in a small rural village of the Gambia in lower river Region which is about 150km away from country Capital Banjul. The Village is about the population of about 672 inhabitants. His parents are peasant farmers who cultivate crops seasonally and they depend on seasonal rains to make their living. They live in a mud block house roof with corrugate iron sheet. His parents are low income earners whose annual income is estimated below average, he is under the care of his parents his mum. Enrolling him through ChildFund sponsorship program will give him access to many basic needs a child might need.
