Ekuwom is a handsome young boy from Turkana County in Northern Kenya. They live in a communal land with his mother in a small grass-thatched and mud-walled hut. They fetch water from a nearby hand pump but the water is not safe for human consumption, which predisposes the child and the family to waterborne disease. His parents depend on making and selling brooms, to supplement their livelihood the family makes and sells firewood bringing them a total annual income that is below $360, which is inadequate to sustain the familys needs. The family through the mother of an enrolled child introduced him to the organization to seek assistance. He studies at a nearby school in their village. He is in an early childhood education class; his favorite subject is Kiswahili and loves playing football with friends during his free time. It is the child’s dream that become a pilot after completing school. Your support will make his life not to be the same again.
