Sorie is a promising little boy, who lives with his parents and siblings in a small hard to reach village surrounded by rocky hills and forest in the North of Sierra Leone. They dwell in a three-bed rooms mud house roofed with old rusty zinc that leaks during the rainy season. Sorie and siblings occupy a single room that is ceiled with local straw math and the floor is not paved. They sleep on a local bed with poor beddings. He sometimes suffer from cold, as he is always exposed to the cold wind blowing at night especially during the rainy season and the cold harmattan period. His father does the farm work to take care of the family. They earn low income of less than US$350. That is inadequate to meet the basic needs of the family. He is friendly with his peers. He enjoys dancing and playing with toys. With sponsorship support, child and family will grow in a healthy and secured environment.
