Kemoh is a clever boy who lives with his parents and siblings in a small village in the rural part in the north of Sierra Leone. His parents are farmers growing cassava, yam and swamp rice. His parents earn a yearly income of US$700 as this is raised from the sales of products harvested from the farm and other basic items sold in the community market. Yet this cannot afford to provide them a bag of rice and other basic necessities. This cannot elevate them from their present situation. Because the sales are not enough to meet their basic needs. The family dwells in a round hut built with mud and roofed with grass thatch. This exposes them to cold and mosquito bite, yet they cannot afford to treat themselves when they are affected with illness. This condition makes them feel as the poorest family in the village. Kemoh is an obedient and handsome boy who loves to play football with his age mate in the village. He will be happy to attend school, expose to greater opportunities for a brighter future.
