Mabinty who is commonly known as Binty is a young beautiful girl. She lives with her parents and other family members in a deprived community in the northern region of Sierra Leone. Her parents are farmer. They plant different types of cash crops in a small piece of land far off from their community. The income raised in selling some of the harvested products is been utilized for food, clothing and other needs of the home. This is insufficient for the family to attend to any emergency need of the home. Binty sleeps with her parents on a local bed stuffed with elephant grass under a treated mosquito bed net. They feed on one meal daily. She enjoys feeding breastmilk from her mother. She is not yet in school because of her age. Her favorite moment is when her mother comfort her with lullaby songs which makes her feel asleep so easily. With the help of sponsorship, she will continue to grow in a safe, conducive and learning environment.
