Kadiatu is a bold and beautiful girl. She and her siblings have been an inspiration for both their parents. They live with other extended family members in one of the hard to reach communities of Sierra Leone. Their house is built with mud bricks and has dusty floor. The family uses solar light for lighting while they fetch water from a dug well. Farming is the main source of earning for the family. They plant rice, corn, cassava, potato and maize. Also, the family do trade for additional income. Their income per annum is about US$350.00 and is still insufficient to provide for all the needs of the family. Her parents strive hard to see that their children are a bit comfortable. Kadiatu is still too young to start school. She likes eating rice, fish, and fruits and she loves playing with her dolls.
