Zabdiel is a smart, quiet and helpful boy who lives in La Paz, the highest capital city in the world. He loves to play football with his friends. He is part of an underprivileged community that faces many serious difficulties, including life-altering malnutrition, extreme generational poverty, and poor educational services. He attends a local school. He enjoys his math classes. He dreams of becoming a doctor when he gets older. He lives with his mother in a rudimentary small dwelling made of adobe walls, cement floor and corrugated metal roof. His mother is the sole provider. She earns a living as a street vendor. The family income is around US $ 200.00 per month, which is insufficient and minimal to cover the basics. Like many children in this country, he needs your love and support to have access to better living conditions to grow up as a healthy and productive adult.
