Fatou and her parents have a family of six, and they live in a two-bedroom mud-block house in the rural West Coast region of The Gambia. Fatou is currently attending an Early Childhood Development (ECD) nursery school in her home village. She has three brothers, all from the same parents. Fatou enjoys playing with toys and solving number puzzles, but she dislikes fighting with her friends. Her hobbies include singing and dancing. The residents of her community are primarily farmers. Fatou’s father cultivates a piece of land where he grows various crops, such as peanuts and maize, to support the family. Unfortunately, due to inconsistent rainfall and infertile land, the harvests are often poor, and the income generated from farming is insufficient to meet the familys needs throughout the year. Your sponsorship would have a positive impact on Fatous life and that of her family.
