Sponsor A Child

Sithew is a cute little baby boy who does not attend a school. Sithew lives happily with his parents live in a beautiful village located in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. The child enjoys playing with toys and being with his mother.   Sithew’s father works as an Asst. Electrician and earns an annual income of around USD500/-.  The amount earned is not sufficient for their home expenses and to provide nutritious food to his child. The family resides in a house which belongs to a relative and it is partially constructed with bricks.  The floor is concreted and the roof is covered with asbestos sheets. They have electricity to light up their house, a water sealed toilet and use water from their own safely built well. Despite the difficulties they face, Sithew’s family tries their best to live happily. Help and support received from a kind sponsor will enable them to improve their living conditions.
