Sponsor A Child

Chathuri is a little girl who has two sisters. One sister is married and living separately. Chathuri lives with her sister and parents in a beautiful village in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. She attends a school which is about 01 k.m.away from her house and she walks to school with her sister. She enjoys studying mathematics. Her father does cultivation work to earn a living. They struggle very hard to provide the basic necessities for their family. He earns an annual income of around USD550/-.Chathuri finds joy in dancing and riding bicycles. Their own partially built house is constructed with bricks and the roof is covered with clay tiles.They have a cemented floor. The family has access to electricity but do not possess proper sanitary facilities and use tap water for their needs. Nourishing their two children is becoming a difficult task for their parents due to the high cost of living. With help received from a kind sponsor, which will be a real blessing for this family, they will be able to provide their child with nutritious food and look forward to live a happy life.
