Little Mamadou is a healthy and joyful baby boy. He is always with his mother. He likes to smile when he is on his mother’s knee. He lives with his parents and siblings in their own cemented house. They fetch water from a well. In this remote area, the main occupations of the inhabitants are agriculture and commerce. His father is a car driver. He works hard to feed his family. As for the mother, she stays home and performs the house chores. The irregular yearly income of the family is US $850.00 and is not sufficient to satisfy the family needs. An extra support from a sponsor can certainly increase the chances of this baby to grow up in good conditions.
