This is Dulce. She belongs to a needy family. The father is a farmer that earns approximately 6 USD daily. The mother takes care of the children at home. Dulce has one sister. This low income seriously compromises Dulces welfare, because its not enough to put the food on the table. Dulce speaks Totonac and Spanish, and attends preschool, at an upper grade. Her diet is based on coffee, tortillas, beans, vegetable soup, rice, eggs, lentils, and noodles. Unfortunately, she suffers from mild malnutrition. She weighs 16.5 kg and shes 1.05 m tall. Dulce enjoys Christmas watching the Christ Child Birth representation and going to posadas. Please, lend Dulce a helping hand. In addition to your invaluable friendship, shell participate in programs aimed to encourage her creativity, while playing with other kids. Shell also discover and develop her skills at an early age.
