Sharlet lives in La Paz, a city known for its high altitude, cold climate, frequent protests, bustling streets, and heavy traffic. She is a shy, caring and joyful girl who has much fun reading short stores. She is a spirited and energetic child, always eager to explore her surroundings and learn new things. She attends a local school, where she enjoys her English classes. She lives with her parents and sister in a rudimentary dwelling consisting of adobe walls and corrugated iron sheets on the roof. They still lack proper sanitation services. Her father earns a living as a construction worker, while her mother runs the home. The family income is around US $ 287.00 per month, which cannot afford health care service and proper education. Like many children in this country, she needs your love and support to have access to better living conditions and education opportunities. Your monthly contribution will also benefit the community of this child.
