George William is a playful boy born in North Eastern Uganda. He lives with both parents and siblings. He loves playing with sand and water with his siblings and peers at the neighbourhood. He has not yet started attending school because of his tender age. They family does subsistence farming by growing crops such as Cow peas, maize, cassava, sweet potatoes, millet and groundnuts. The cultivation is done twice a year, and the yield is not much due to traditional cultivation methods used. The family income on average cannot exceed US 10 dollars per month. This makes it difficult for the family to acquire basic needs such as kerosene, salt and soap. The family resides in a grass thatched hut made of mud walls, wattle and a packed dirt floor which requires constant requires due to leakages.
