Rebecca is a jolly girl. She lives with her grandparents and two siblings in the Northern part of Uganda. Her parents separated leaving her and siblings in the case of her elderly parents. They live in a grass thatched house whereby the wall is made of mud, roof made of straw thatched and the floor made out of packed dirt. The family depends on subsistence farming were they majorly grows beans and maize as source of food for the family. It is only when they realize the production is high that is when they are able to sell some and purchase other items like soaps which costs 1.4 US dollars. What they produce yearly is equated to US 20 dollars which is really not enough to provide all that they need in terms of basic needs. Much as Rebecca goes school from Monday to Friday, sometimes she cannot attend school due to lack of school fees making her miss lesson affecting her performance. She loves English as her favorite subject and dreams of becoming a teacher. Your kind support to this young girl shall enable her achieve her potentials and will economically empower her household.
