Naider is a little boy who lives in the southern part of Mozambique. He lives with his parents and sister in a very small house made of wood. The parents of Naider are farmers, so they live from agriculture. They consume part of their production and sell the other part to be able to buy other types of food, like rice and fish, school material and clothes. They live in an area where it is difficult to have access to clean water or electricity and they have to walk long distances to find water. On his free time, Naider enjoys playing hopscotch. He also enjoys helping his family with the housework. In the future he would like to become a nurse. The family of Naider believes that with the help from ChildFund and partners Naider will have the chance of a better future and their lives will be better.
