Yohan is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his mother, Francisca, and with his brother, Carlos, in a municipality which belongs to the metropolitan region of Fortaleza, state of Ceara. Their simple home has brick walls, ceramic tile floors and clay-tiled roof. It is rented and has a tiny bathroom. The father has abandoned the home and has not been providing any type of financial support for his children. The family receives a very small family allowance from the federal government, which is far from enough to meet basic needs. Yohan is sweet and playful. He likes playing with toy cars and riding a bike. Yohan has been diagnosed as suffering from autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and oppositional defiant disorder (he is under treatment with specialists and takes controlling medicines). He attends nursery school and loves painting and coloring. Through your support Yohan and his family will have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, education and nutrition.
