Meet Yuan. He is a joyful and friendly boy. He lives in La Paz, a western city of Bolivia. He is part of an underprivileged community that faces many serious difficulties, including life-altering malnutrition, extreme generational poverty, and poor educational services. He attends primary school, where he enjoys his math lessons. He lives with his parents in a rudimentary small dwelling made of adobe walls, cement floor and corrugated metal roof. His father earns a living as an employe, while his mother runs the home. The family income is around US $ 287.00 per month, which is insufficient and minimal to cover the basics and reaching the end of the month is a constant struggle. Like many children in this country, he needs your love and support to have access to better living conditions to grow up as a healthy and productive adult.
