Khanitha is a girl who was born into a needy family that lacks of opportunities. Her family earns the living as wage earner and most of the employments are seasonal farm works; they would do every job they could find or get hired like mowing the grass, digging the ground, harvesting corn and rice. When they do not have a job to do, they had to borrow money from others to use in the household and needed to find extra money to pay off debt, a cycle of endless debt began right then. Sometimes, they would go fishing or find wildlings like picking mushroom and vegetable for sale; this helped supplement some of the family income. Yet, the family income is still lacking, it is not easy to survive with uncertain situation and irregular income. This may not allow her family to ensure the girl a decent education and proper feeding which may risk her growth.
