Jeremiah is a humble and boy. They hail from North Eastern Uganda where he stays with both parents and sibling. Despite his young age, he enjoys simple pleasures like playing in sand and scribbling drawings on the ground. He has not yet joined school. His favourite meal is beans served with posho. Their living conditions are challenging, as they reside in a grass-thatched hut with mud walls and a dirt floor. The family relies on subsistence farming, cultivating crops like millet, sorghum, sim-sim, and maize but their meagre income mainly comes from sporadic sales of their harvest and occasional donations for essentials like salt, soap, and food during crisis times. This unwarranted financial situation, exacerbated by poor yields due to prolonged dry spells and over cultivation, has pushed them into absolute poverty. Sponsorship from a compassionate individual or team could be the lifeline needed to improve the situation of Jeremiah and offer him hope for a better future.
