Wison finds joy in engaging in outdoor activities such as skipping rope and collecting water in small containers with his friends at the nearby river. These activities hold particular significance during the dry season when water levels are low. Wison resides in the Eastern part of Uganda alongside his parents and siblings, forming a tight-knit family unit. Unfortunately, their region lacks access to clean water, and they frequently encounter challenges due to flooding caused by their proximity to the slopes of Mount Elgon. The area experiences heavy rainfall, which often leads to destructive floods that harm crops. Wisons parents rely on farming as their main source of sustenance, striving to provide their family with essential needs like clothing, food, and education. However, the combination of poor soil textures and unpredictable climate changes hampers their efforts, resulting in insufficient harvests to meet the familys basic necessities. In light of the hardships faced by Wison and his family, it is vital to extend support to improve their quality of life.
