Jastin is a calm young girl who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana county. She lives with her mother, father, three brothers and one sister. They live in a palm thatched mud hut in a communal land. They fetch their water from a community tap whose water is scarce as it is depended upon by many households. The mother is the primary caretaker of the family who depends on casual work in the community. Her father also does herding activities in peoples homes as a livelihood supplementation activity.  However, the annual income generated from these activities is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to cater for family basic needs. Her mother for this reason approached the office seeking for assistance. Jastin is not enrolled in school because she has not attained school going age. She likes playing with toy dolls.  Her parents would like her to become an air hostess when she grows up and also help the vulnerable groups in the society. Your support will bring a lasting change in her life.
