Sponsor A Child

We are introducing to you the smart Kedija who lives with her parents and two siblings in a deprived area of the country.  Her mother and her father are casual workers to make a living.  Kedija is a primary school student and her favorite subject is English.  The community where the child lives in the area where there is shortage of health service, quality school education, potable water and other basic services. The family lives in a small rental house.  The family communicates in Amharic language.  Their minimal income, which is very low per annum, is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating petty trade activities. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. In order to overcome the poverty Kedija is facing, she needs to be enrolled in the project so that she can get a better education and have a brighter future.  

Ending child poverty begins with Kedija. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
