Suvarna‘s young life is marred by poverty and misery. Her parents work as  casual laboresr to maintain the family. Their hard work fetches a very low income of approximately US dollar 350 per annum, which does not suffice to tide over the financial problems. but there is hardly any sign of improvement in their living conditions. Finally in utter desperation, they sought aid from this project to provide a better future for this child. Suvarna is attending school. Her favorite subject is Kannada language. She likes to sing and go shopping. She enjoys playing  group games with friends. Her health is good. Suvarna has two brothers.
