Mark is a jovial boy from Turkana County in Northern Kenya. He lives with his parents in Turkana County, Northern Kenya in a small grass-thatched house smeared with mud and supported with sticks the house is constructed in a communal land. they draw water from a nearby river. but the water is not safe for human consumption, which predisposes the child and the family to waterborne disease. His parents depend on weaving brooms, to supplement their livelihoods the family also keeps some goats that give the milk and meat that they sell to the nearby markets earning them an annual income that is below $360, which is not sufficient to sustain their needs. The family, through a zonal committee, introduced him to the organization seeking the same help. Mark has not yet attained the school-going age. He has no interest in any activity yet. According to his parents, he aspires to be a doctor after completion of his studies and he will be thankful if the aid will make him realize his dreams.
