Vismini resides in a rural village located the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka, along with her parents, brother and sister.  Her father works as a seasonal farmer, while her mother manages the household responsibilities. Her father’s annual income of approximately $400 is unpredictable, presenting challenges in meeting the needs of their three children. Despite these difficulties, they have a place they can call home, a partially built house constructed with brick walls, a cemented floor, and a roof covered with asbestos sheets. They are fortunate to have access to electricity, clean tap water and a private water-sealed toilet.  While Vismini attends a primary school, she finds excitement in her favorite subject, mathematics. Outside of school, she cherishes the moments spent playing with her friends and helping her mother with the household chores. By sponsoring Vismini,  you have the ability to bring more vibrancy and happiness into her life, as well as uplift the spirits of her entire family.
