Kelvin is brilliant young girl who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana county. She lives with her mother and father. She also has two sisters. They live in a palm thatched mud hut smeared with mud in a communal land. They fetch water from a community seasonal bore hole whose water is not enough. Her mother is the primary care giver of the family who is a domestic labourer while her father practices herding as an income generating activity. However, the annual income derived from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support family basic needs. Her mother decided to approach the office seeking for further assistance. Kelvin is not enrolled in school because she has not attained school going age. While at home, she likes playing with dolls with her friends. Additionally, Kelvin helps her parents in fetching water and washing utensils. When she grows up, her parents would like her to be an air hostess. Your support will bring a lasting change to her life and the family.
