We are introducing to you the smart Mazanesh who lives with her parents in a destitute area where lacks potable water, health institutions and transportation facilities.  Mazanesh is a kindergarten school student.  Her favorite subject is jumping rope.  The family communicates in Gedeo local language.  Her mother is a housewife and her father is a causal worker to make a living.   Their minimal income, which is very low per annum, is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating activities. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. The family lives in a small house made up of wood and grass.  The nearby school and health center lack basic equipment and qualified professionals. In order to overcome the poverty Mazanesh is facing and also get a better education, she needs to be enrolled in the project.  

Ending child poverty begins with Mazanesh. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
