Ian is a joyful, playful and sweet boy. He lives in a western city of Bolivia, located at 3,600 meters above sea level, in western Bolivia. He is part of an underprivileged community that faces many serious difficulties, including life-altering malnutrition, extreme generational poverty, and poor educational services. With limited resources and toys, he finds joy in simple activities that capture his curiosity like cars and plush animals. He lives with his mom and brother in a rudimentary small dwelling made of adobe walls, cement floor and corrugated metal roof. His mother earns a living by cleaning houses. The family income is around US $ 143.00 per month, which is insufficient and minimal to cover the basics. Like many children in this country, he needs your love and support to have access to better living conditions to grow up as a healthy and productive adult.
