Pedro is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his mother, Michele, and with a brother, in a slum area on the outskirts of a city located in the state of Ceara. Their simple home, which is lent to them, has brick walls, ceramic tile floors and a clay-tiled roof. It has a simple bathroom. The father has abandoned the home and has not been providing any type of financial support for his children. Michele receives a very small family allowance from the federal government, which is far from enough to meet basic needs. Pedro is shy and sweet. He likes playing with toy cars in the company of other kids his age. Pedro is considered to have good health, in spite of the poor living conditions and diet. He is still too young to attend school. Through your support Pedro and his family will have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, education and nutrition.
