Sponsor A Child

Let’s introduce you to the very cute boy named Deraro who lives with his parents and one siblings in a destitute area with poor hygiene.  The community where the child lives in lacks quality education, health centers, and transportation. In addition, there is no sanitary facilities. The family lives in a small hut covered by grass.  The family communicates in Oromo local language.  His mother is a housewife and she takes care of the family.  His father is a farmer to make a living.   Deraro is a little child and he has not yet started to go to school.  They earn less than 300 USD income per annum which is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in improved farming activity. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. In order to overcome the poverty Deraro is facing, he needs a helping hand so that he can get a better education to have a brighter future.  

Ending child poverty begins with Deraro. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
